We invited Jackie’s family to our house for Thanksgiving. We had a great time laughing, eating and watching football!
Then we headed to Tupelo and did some Black Friday Shopping. We had a great day of shopping and got a lot accomplished as Jackie’s mother agreed to stay behind and play with Ryleigh and Maddie.
Saturday we left the kids to spend some extra time with the Grandparents and Jackie and I went to Starkville, MS. to cheer on the Bulldogs in the Egg Bowl.
We tried to take a walk, but it was really windy so we cut it short.
We had a great day on Sunday. The weather was so beautiful. Ryleigh and Maddie had a great time swinging.
Ryleigh has two new teeth. So, she is getting ready for real food only a couple months away.
On the 20th we went to Tupelo for Christmas with Jackies parents. Another weekend of gift is helping Maddie and ryleigh become very excited for Santa!!
So, the girls made hot choc.
Maddie enjoyed watching rudolph and helping her mother. It made Jackie’s night to get to share a story of Christmas. Christmas is going to be so much fun, Maddie is excited about everything as long as she don’t have to take a picture with Santa.
Monday we lit the Christmas Tree in Eupora. We meaning Maddie and Jackie as Ryleigh and I took off to the car it was cold and Ryleigh didn’t like her hat. She didn’t like it so mug we didn’t get a picture, but Maddie did!!
No picture of tree I was holding a kid, a cookie, a hot choc, a blanket,and a diaper bag. I was also cold which had me walking to the car early.
Here is a slideshow of the last two weekends. Wednesday night we drove up to Tupelo to see Jackie’s parents and grandparent. Aunt Nancy also made the trip down from Ohio! We had a great time watching football, visiting, and of couse eating!!
Tonight we started advent. This is a celebration of the four Sundays before Christmas preparing our hearts for the birth of jesus. The first of four candles is the candle of hope. Maddie helped light it tonight! She was so excited! We then read a few bible verses and sang a Christmas song! It is a tradition I grew up with and I am thrilled to be continuing it with my family! This truly is a blessed time of year!!
Emilie, mama, and Braden made trip up Sunday night to spend some time. The girls had such a wonderful time!
I am so terrible as I let maddie fall a sleep without getting any pictures.
We still have a fun visit none the less!
